Born on March 7, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Vicky comes from a middle-class family; her father, Steve Waldrip, is a prominent local real-estate developer. While her mother, Carla Johnson, is a stay-at-home mom. Woah Vicky also has an elder sister who is currently pursuing her career in the fashion industry, based in New York. 

Woah Vicky has completed her secondary education at Marietta High School, Georgia. However, she was homeschooled after 10th and received her high school diploma from Penn Foster. She enrolled in a private institution for a long-distance learning program.

The social media star has always shown off herself on her Instagram account; however, Vicky got the limelight when she claimed to have an African-American ethnicity.

She has also stated that she is a resident of Zone 6, one of Atlanta’s most dangerous and unsafe neighborhoods. But Vicky’s ex-boyfriend Papi JJ denies that claim and asserts that she is from the Buckhead district of Atlanta and not zone 6.

Mostly known for her social media presence, Woah Vicky has over 3 million followers on her Instagram account. Also, the young self-made millionaire’s rise to fame has been somewhat overnight and full of controversies. The rapper made headlines back in 2018 with the claims to be a black American. 

She even dropped a self-titled track in 2018 on SoundCloud. The track racked up to 100k spins in the first month alone. In addition, its music video, directed by YouKnowMalik, was released on her YouTube channel and got more than 600k views. 

Her social media handles feature celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Chief Keef, contributing to her gaining millions of followers. Vicky also has a YouTube channel where she uploads her music videos, makeup tutorials, other hilarious and unique content, along with a diverse range of lifestyle-related content.

Vicky is no stranger to controversies. Her most popular beef is with ‘Bhad Bhabie‘ aka. Danielle Bregoli. Both the rappers have been in constant verbal conflicts on various social media platforms. Shockingly, they both even got into a physical confrontation at the Americana at Brand in Glendale, California. 

Apart from this, the young rapper released a racist track, ‘Ching Chong‘, targeting a fellow YouTuber RiceGum. Later the video was removed from the platform, and the rapper gave a public apology.
