After garnering some attention from SoundCloud because of their songs with deep meanings, they are now considered one of the most popular performers in the underground rap scene and have a huge number of fans.
Suicuideboys’ first project together was a three-track EP called “Kill Yourself Part I: The $uicide $aga.” It was on SoundCloud and BandCamp in June 2014. They also collaborated with a popular underground rapper named Bones for the EP.
Suicideboys’ breakthrough came when they released the EP “$outh $ide $uicide” in 2015, in which they collaborated with a well-known rapper named Pouya.
After several years of solely releasing EPs, singles, and mixtapes, they had their first studio album entitled “I Want to Die in New Orleans” which was released on September 7, 2018. It became their first top ten album on the US Billboard 200.
In August 2021, after a year-long hiatus, they released their second studio album “Long Term Effects of Suffering.” In November 2021, Suicideboys received RIAA platinum single, for their single “…And to Those I Love, Thanks for Sticking Around.”
