Personal Life
Sarah Forgany was born on January 3, 1996, in Cairo, Egypt. Later, her whole family moved to Houston, Texas. She has a close bond with her mother. Sarah also has a sister who she grew up with.
She graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Journalism.
When she is not at work, she loves to travel. She has been to many countries including Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Venezuela, Mexico, and more. Forgany is fluent in Arabic and is currently learning Spanish. Forgany is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
She got married in 2019 and gave birth last May 2021 to a baby girl. She also has a Russian tortoise named “Speedy.”

After her graduation from the University of Houston, she began working at News24Houston and KTRK ABC13. After that, she moved to Lafayette, Louisiana, where she worked as a reporter and weekend anchor for the KLFY station.
She moved back to Texas in April 2010, and worked at KENS 5. She worked both on local and international news.
She has interviewed several notable figures including former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, and former Governor of Louisiana, Bobby Jindal. Sarah Forgany has also covered the earthquake in Haiti, Hurricane Gustav, and Hurricane Ike.
For her great journalism efforts and utmost dedication to her career, she has received four Associated Press Awards.

She explained that she has not been able to update on her social media accounts because she did not have the time. Sarah also said that it was a struggle traveling with a baby.
Their travel had not been ideal and they were a victim of delayed flights. Forgany says that the thunderstorms in Chicago delayed her flight.
As an update to her fans, she stated that she would be back on air on July 18, 2022.

Sarah Forgany is married. She said her “I do” to her husband Jesse Castillo on January 5, 2019, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They had their honeymoon in Iceland, Uganda, and Rwanda.
She also shared that she somehow ruined her husband’s romantic marriage proposal because she had an early work schedule. The couple had an intimate wedding with their close family and friends.
