Their family then moved to Northern California where she grew up. She went to Castro Valley High School.

She has one daughter, Da’Nelle Campbelle, and lives in Los Angeles, California. Da’Nelle is a talented dancer who works in the music industry and has performed in many music award shows. Luenell made her acting debut in 1993 when she appeared in the movie “So I Married an Axe Murderer.”

One of her most iconic works is when she was cast in the 2006 mockumentary comedy film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

In the hit mockumentary, Luenell plays a prostitute and a hooker with a heart of gold. Later in the movie, she marries the main character, Borat.

She also appeared in “Think Like A Man” as Aunt Winnie, in the 3D animated hit “Hotel Transylvania” as the voice of the Shrunken Heads, and in “Taken 2” as the driving instructor, in “That’s My Boy” as Champale, all in 2012.

She also appeared in the television film “Snoop Dogg Presents: The Bad Girls of Comedy” in the same year.
