Professional Career

Brett Meador is the founder of Athey Creek Christian Fellowship which started in 1996. He established the fellowship after moving to Portland, Oregon with his family.

Before this, he was a member of the staff at Applegate Christian Fellowship for 12 long years. He stated that he sensed God calling him to start his own church. This was the beginning of Athey Creek Christian Fellowship or ACCF. It began with a small group of individuals who met at Athey Creek Middle School to study and go through the Bible, verse-by-verse. They continued this practice and the fellowship started to grow gradually. The group then became too big for the school, so they moved to a warehouse building in Wilsonville. After five years, ACCF had their own building in West Linn, Portland.

“Athey Podcasts” are a series of video and audio podcasts with Brett Meador. These are available on various streaming platforms including Apple, Spotify, Google, Stitcher, and Overcast.

The fellowship also has a podcast called “Iron Works” available on Apple. It is a bible study for men in line with In Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” One of the aims of ACCF is to see men grow in their personal walks with Jesus and to help them fulfill their God-given roles in this life.

Moreover, they also have a podcast which is a part of the Women’s Ministry called “Devoted.” There, the women discuss what it means to be a woman devoted to God nowadays.

Athey Creek Christian Fellowship has weekly activities and they hold online and face to face gatherings. Their bible studies happen on Wednesdays and their worship services happen on Sundays. You can also check out their music here.
