MO3: How He Rapped-up His Way To Become Rich

MO3 was a famous American rapper who died on November 11 2020. He was murdered at the age of 28, mourned by fans globally. At the time of his death, the rapper had an estimated net worth of $1 to $5 million.

He was born in Dallas, Texas, and debuted his musical career in 2014 with ‘Shottaz.’ His career really took off when he released ‘Shottaz Reloaded.’

In 2015, he released his album ‘Rain,’ which went on to become his best album of the year. A year later, he put out ‘What She Said,’ ‘Out The Mud,’ Gangsta Love,’ and ‘G Sh*to.’ This was an amazing year for the rapper as two of his mixtapes made it to top 30 on Top R&B/Hip Hop Music Album Chart at number 23 and 26.

Growing up, rapper Boosie Badazz had always been his idol. It was MO3’s dream to collaborate with him, and in 2019, he turned this dream into a reality. The two rappers worked together and put out ‘Everybody.’

Early Life

MO3 was born Melvin Noble on the 31st of May, 1992. There isn’t a lot of information about his early life or his upbringing. However, the rapper did share part of his story by himself. He explained that his family didn’t have a lot of money growing up, and his mother was the only parent in his life.

She often struggled to pay the bills and made enough money to sustain the family. Sometimes they didn’t have anywhere to sleep and had to eat noodles every day. When the electricity bill wasn’t paid, the two slept on the patio and charged their phones at whatever bodega was nearest to them.

Listening to Boosie Badazz helped him a lot at this point in his life.

Career

The hit singles ‘Gangsta Love’ and ‘Hold Ya Tongue’ did wonders for MO3’s career. Together, they have well over 11 million streams and gave way for him to collaborate with some of the biggest musical names in Dallas.

One could argue that these led to MO3 opening for Boosie at a Dallas concert. Shortly after this performance, the rapper was introduced to the Bad Azz Music Label, where he followed up with the motivational mixtape ‘4 Indictments.’

In 2018, MO3 released the third installment of Shottaz, which was known as Shottaz 3.0. It got millions of views and remains his biggest single up to date.

Death

On November 11, 2020, MO3 left a friend’s house and was tailed by an unknown individual. He got onto the I-35 and, in an attempt to get away from the car following him, crashed his car on the side of the road.

Even though MO3 tried to get away on foot after the collision, he was gunned down by an assailant. He passed away in a nearby hospital soon after. The rapper was laid to rest at a private funeral on November 20, 2020.
