Hank Lockwood was born and raised in Scituate, Massachusetts. From an young age, he was really passionate about sports and grew to have a deep interest in filmmaking later on. Lockwood graduated from Scituate High School in 2010.
Afterwards, he attended Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) where he learned the basics in shooting, editing and lighting for digital videos
Professional Career
After graduating, Hank Lockwood spent some time working at the Scituate Department of Public Works before contacting Barstool in the summer of 2013. He was not able to return to the DPW because he forgot to turn in his reapplication form so he started looking to Barstool for job opportunities.
At that time, Barstool Sports founder David Portnoy started his Boston mayoral campaign. After completing a one year film program at the Center For Digital Imaging Arts in Waltham, Massachusetts, Lockwood still had access to all of the school’s video and audio equipment; he offered to help David film and edit his videos for free.
For four months, he worked as an unpaid intern for BarStool productions and then received a full-time job offer in October 2013.
Currently, he is a producer for Pardon My Take, a popular sports podcast co-hosted by Big Cat (Barstool) and PFT Commenter. Pardon My Take podcast is also produced by BarStool sports and is available on streaming platforms such as Apple, Spotify, and Stitcher. It is also available on Youtube.
