Then, he became the Finance & Insurance Manager at the same branch. Earning the trust of their staff and customers, he was later appointed as the Sales Manager at Suntrup Nissan.
In the late 90’s, the Suntrup Automotive Group acquired their Hyundai store. It became one of the most profitable locations and was always part of the Top 10 in the region every month.
As told by Craig, “All the Suntrups started early in the business, beginning at about age 12, and working ‘grunt jobs’ at the dealerships–washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting the walls.”
Currently, Craig Suntrup’s work revolves around the sales departments for Suntrup Kia South, Suntrup Kia West, Suntrup Hyundai South, Suntrup Hyundai West, BMW of West St. Louis, Suntrup Nissan, and Suntrup Volkswagen. He oversees day-to-day operations and makes important decisions for the mentioned branches and the whole company.
