Allie left primary school in 2016 because of bullying. She was then homeschooled. When she was nine years old, her mother died.
She began busking in Cork at the young age of 11. She started singing on Grafton Street in Ireland’s capital, Dublin, every week. While busking, she is often accompanied by her father and music manager, Mark Sherlock. They upload videos of her performances on her Youtube channel.
Professional Career
Allie Sherlock began busking at a young age. She was noticed by many people and gained some fame when her video of performing Ed Sheeran’s song “Supermarket Flowers” went viral.
In 2017, she was on Britain’s Got Talent (series 12) and was able to advance to the second round. She performed at the 2017 Miss Universe Ireland pageant in August 2017. Also in the same year, she was offered to appear on ABC’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” but opted not to.
In 2018, she decide to appear on the said show and performed the song “Million Years Ago” by Adele. She also sang “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran on RTÉ One’s “The Ray D’Arcy Show.” In the latter part of 2018, Allie signed a five-year contract with Patriot Records.
